Inspiring Eyes Photography is operated by Mark Sims and Heidi Etre.  We are thankful every day to be able to share our passion for photography with others.  We love capturing magical moments in a timeless fashion; whether it is a curious toddler discovering the world, a simple moment shared between two loved ones, or a special event that has been planned down to the last detail. 

Mark and Heidi are Central Florida-based photographers who specialize in photography of children, families and special events.  We both share a passion for photography going back to our childhood.  Mark grew up being inspired by his grandfather and father who have both had successful careers in wedding and event photography as well as videography.  Heidi has been hooked since her first photography class in high school.   

Whenever possible, we prefer to take advantage of the beautiful, natural light of the Florida sun.  We primarily shoot in the mornings and late afternoon/early evenings when the sun is most flattering (and the temperature is cooler!).   A priority is placed on making the client comfortable for the session, so there is no worrying about coming out to a studio and being asked to tilt your head this way and “pose”.  We will shoot at the location of your choice, whether it is in your home or any number of beautiful Central Florida locations.  Please feel free to ask us to meet you at your favorite location and we can always offer suggestions based on previous experiences.

It is our goal to capture the essence of the subject and therefore focus on natural, candid moments.  Attention is placed on the details as well as the expressions and interactions between subjects.

Portrait sessions will normally last between 1-2 hours, however we will be with you as long as needed.  We understand that the most critical element to a successful photo session is the comfort of our clients, so if more time is needed, especially when shooting children, we will take the time necessary to meet the needs of our clients.  Solid color clothing without any logos or distracting images is recommended.  If there are multiple subjects, dressing in complementary colors will result in a more pleasing composition.  Of course, since we are in Florida bare feet are always welcome! 

There is no limit to the number of photos taken during a session.  After your shoot, your photos will be finalized utilizing the latest digital editing techniques and presented to you in an exclusive on-line viewing gallery.  Photos are available for purchase in an array of sizes and printed on the highest quality photo stock.  Other items such as photo books are also available for purchase.
